March EMTC + 1 Entry!Green!March EMTC + 1 Entry! by SparklyDest
March. Me birth month. A month that always brings to mind the color green. What with it being the month spring begins in the northern hemisphere, and the month of St. Patrick, I just always associate this month with this color. It feels like a nice, broad theme for the month too. Make an emote that is full of clovers, or just full of spring in general. Or maybe, you like green zombies , or green vines on pumpkins. A green emote doing just about anything would fit this too. Basically, you put the color green in it and it will be perfect for this theme.
Only new submissions for this. The emote must be submitted after the theme has been announced.
You can enter as many times as you want.
Please include a brief explanation to the theme, if it isn't already completely obvious in the dev
St. Patrick's CSS Challenge:iconJournalCSs: and :iconJournalSKin:St. Patrick's CSS Challenge by poserfan
are teaming up for a St. Patrick's Day CSS Challenge, our second monthly challenge of many more to come....
Catch a Leprechaun, follow the rainbow and find the pot of gold, go green, because St. Paddy's is the theme!
Your task is to incorporate the theme "St. Patrick's Day" in a beautiful, free, user-friendly new Journal skin or an equally beautiful new Journal design through the use of colour, typography, graphics, design or any other elements which you think relate to the theme in one way or another. You're free to interpret the theme in any way you want, but in the result the theme must be clear at first glance. Suggestions besides the obvious green, are shamrock/clover, leprechaun and his gold, colors of the irish flag.
This contest will have two categories: Even
Chance @ Earning Points!:iconupdateplz: Alright, I'm at T minus 28 minutes until I'm officially away for the weekend. I'll be returning on Sunday, and I EXPECT to see lots of comments on this journal.Chance @ Earning Points! by GrimFace242
Since I've been experiencing an utter lack of angry mobs throwing pick-up lines at me AND I'll be away this weekend, we're gonna do something completely different. I've got about 400 to throw around and I absolutely love to make you guys do things that benefit the community. But I've decided to keep things simple.
Go Forth and Hit Random Deviant. Browse their gallery/journals/polls and leave a positive comment on their profile.
Of course there have to be rules too. Because, "I love your art!" is not what I'm looking for.
Comments must have a minimum of five sentences.Be honest and sincere. No limit on amount entries. Leave a comment on this journal with a link to your positive comment
CelticStrm-Stock's Journal Skin CSS ContestThe Journal Skin CSS ContestCelticStrm-Stock's Journal Skin CSS Contest by CelticStrm-Stock
Create a new installable journal skin of a medium to large body size that will be suitable to use for features. I am planning an upcoming series called "In The Stock-Light" that will be featuring new and unknown stock providers. This means the background shouldn't be too heavily loaded with images that will distract from the features. The header and footer areas are ok, but the body should be subtle or solid. The text should also be clearly visible against the background and at a normal font size for the body font. I would like to see some paper or subtle fabric type texture in the body area of the journal skin. All of my regular stock will be available for participants to use for free in this contest. (The exclusive gallery does not apply.)
The theme should either suit my user name (celtic or

Iiiiit's contest time! All original literature welcome.
This is a speculative fiction contest—the technology requirement could cover steampunk, 'John Carter,' 'The Windup Girl,' 'Watchmen,' '2001: A Space Odyssey' or about anything else you can think of. The one thing that isn't permissible is magic.
That was a joke.
Your story must center around the development of a relationship between two entities.
Some things to consider:What kind of relationship is it? (No, "relationship" doesn't have to mean "romance.")Who/what is it between? Is the development positive/negative?
The relationship must be noticeably changed at the end.Distance/death don't count if they're still besties or whatever.I don't mean changed personalities. I mean a changed relationship.
Plausible but (currently) nonexistent technology must be integral to the development of this relationship.Time travel goes forward.Nothing goes faster than light, a
Project Feature: A Journal Feature Contest!Deadline extended due to a few people asking about it. Deadline is now March 15thProject Feature: A Journal Feature Contest! by rainylake
It's contest time
I love creating/looking through features and discovering new artwork, so I decided to see what all of you can come up with!
The objective of this contest is for you to create a journal feature with a specific theme.
Theme: pick it yourself and write a short explanation as to why you chose it.
Journal feature must be new!
Feature the artwork of other artists.
You may submit up to 3 different journal features (please note you can only win once )
Be sure to include in the description of your journal that it's for this contest, and link back here (ie: Created for rainylake's Project Feature Contest (link) )
Remember: Quality not Quantity. I would rather see a journal feature with 10 carefully selected works then one with 50
