Description

This was done for the one and only awesome Exillior!
She has put so much trust in me while doing this and i was always afraid i would break something or ruin it while painting it (you can't just simple fix something if you just work with one color).

But after weeks and months it is finally done and the dragon will start its flight to the big european island soon!
It was definitely a challenge to work on this. So many things to keep in mind, so many "hopefully it will work out this or that way". There was an overall plan for it, but its the tiny details that make it horrible at some moments lol.

I haven't counted how much time i really spent for this, but cutting and grinding the edges already took more than 10hours. Add the planning, doing the lineart, cutting out the lineart, painting the wood and combining everything with the light chain and you can get a feeling that this really took a long time :D
It's also the first time that i added some 3D effect to single elements. So when you move your finger over the dragon you can feel the teeth, limbs etc. Could have go one adding details here and there.

:pointr: If you are intereted in WIPs, you can see them at my blog: ginkgowerkstatt.de
