Moon Light by ginkgografix Moon Light by ginkgografix
First time that I combined lights and painting the wood, as well as going for a layered look. Makes the whole thing rather fragile compared to the other light decorations I did so far.
There are several things that need to be improved next time, working was more a try&error thing to get the final result right :B

:pointr: If you are intereted in WIPs, you can see them at my blog:

- 6mm + 3mm plywood
- acrylics
- chain of light
- lots of glue

You're really doing well with these pieces.
Thank you!
It's fun and if it is fun you really pay attention to details and want to make the result look awesome :la:

That's so cute.  The layering effect is well done.  I like the cuts you made so the light shines through.  It would be pretty if you could do that with some of the swirls on the stars too.
Thank you! Makes me happy to hear.

Those cuts are rather difficult to make and i think for the stars it wouldn't really work, especially as i have to keep in mind what is underneath and what not. For the moon it works as there is no wire or other wood behind.

That's lovely. I would have been over the moon (ha, hah...I actually didn't do that on purpose) as a kid to have this as my nightlight. Blues and yellows are my favorite colors together especially if it's moon and star patterns.

Makes me happy to hear that, thank you! :rose:

Man lernt ja dazu ^-^ !
