How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Will be 10 years next month. I started with a different account.
What does your username mean?
It's a combination of 'ginkgo biloba' (the tree that fascniates me a bit) and a altered version of graphics.
Back in art school we had to do business cards for ourself and I wanted to have a fancy name for it, that's when I created it and it's also my real business name now.
Describe yourself in three words.
creative, insecure, cake
Are you left or right handed?
Right handed, but every now and then I try to do things with me left hand.
What was your first deviation?
I used to delete stuff I was unhappy with, but as far as I know it was a digital painting of a phoenix.
It has been 'abused' several times on DA and other sites, which is why I decided to delete it. It can be still found via google... like here www.pinterest.com/pin/52537311…
What is your favourite type of art to create?
It used to be digital art, but now it is everything that can be covered by the term "artisan craft". I need to have real tools that I can touch and get dirty with to be happy.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Calligraphy... creative writing in general. And typography. Just being able to arrange words and letters in beautiful ways.

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Digital Art and artisan crafts.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
I don't have such a artist, mostly because I am interested in too many things and what I appreciate often changes (depending on my own skill level).
One of the latest persons that really motivated me and kinda is a fav artist is cakecrumbs - you might can guess why
But yeah, why limiting yourself to one person when there is soo much great art.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Tricky! While I quite would like to meet some people, I am totally happy just knowing them online.
Meeting people is always a challenge for me... what if expectations are different and you suddenly realize you don't get along well? Or if you disappoint them because you are not as interesting as they thought you were? Even stupid, this is a real issue for me and gives me nightmares before an actual meet.
That being said I have met quite a lot of people already (surprisingly). Mostly through german devmeets and also through the HQ and european devmeet in Berlin.
A few people that I could imagine to be fun to hang out with would be ikazon (that smile, eh!), Thiefoworld, rotane, inknalcohol, TheMaidenInBlack, gillianivyart, Nyx-Valentine (all the glitter and crafty things!), neurotype-on-discord and a bunch more, but I fail to remember more names right now D:
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I think all deviants I had closer contact with impacted my life in some way. Those that supported me all the way and also those that fooled me.
But lately it are my two fav ladies Exillior and Anoya that are quite important to me!
And of course the deviants that submitted tutorials or other helpful stuff. With everything they posted I was able to learn, which influenced me in a way that I improved and got further with my art/skills.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
Pencils, wood, paint, fondant... no idea... ALL THE TOOLS... ALL OF THEM!
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Hm... I don't get inspired by placed... I get inspired by the things around me and it doesn't matter where that is. Can be home, can be at the supermarket, can be in a museum.
But one day I will have an epic room just for crafting and then that will be my most inspirational place
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Uh... there are many. But often when you try to recall it, they don't come to mind. You just seem to remember them at special moments.
In general I can say that hosting events, helping deviants (if they were nice :p), meeting awesome people through CVness, reading what friends thought of me when receiving deviousness and similar have been special moments.
