:bulletgreen: Introduction

Sooner or later everyone with a Premium Membership tries to style their journal and/or gallery a bit more. It doesn't always have to be very complex, but still there are things you should keep in mind to make sure everything will work without problems.
To give those that aren't really familiar with CSS and journal/gallery styling or those that give it a try for the first time, this news article should provide you some useful resources to avoid any frustrating experience.

No matter if you style your gallery or your journal you always have to make one choice first. Do you want to make a layout on your own or do you want to use something made by someone else. If you choose the latter than you need to make the choice if it should be a public skin or a custom one(just made for you) as well.

:bulletgreen: Journals And Galleries

A while ago I already wrote a rather complex news article that explains the most important things you need to keep in mind and take care of, when you want to apply CSS to any journal/blog or gallery.
So if you are clueless about what needs to be done read this: Journal/Gallery templates – A Guideline. It should cover everything you need to know.

And here are two more news articles:
:pointr: How to upload a journal template
:pointr: Permission to use CSS skins needed?

If you need inspiration you can take a look at this news article: news.deviantart.com/article/13…
It will not only show you lots of great designs and templates, but also lists you some groups that focus on CSS and might be helpful to you as well.
