No matter if you believe in supernatural beings or not, myths and legends of all kinds do fascinate and affect our life all the time. Be it as a child when we listen to stories, be it as an adult when watching movies or reading books.

There are endless stories about such supernatural beings. Some are rather famous, some totally unknown. Todays dArp shows you just a few artworks dedicated to those. It's up to you, to show us more! And maybe share your favourite myth/legend with us as well.

I once read a Japanese folk tale about a tengu who mocked a woodsman. The tengu could read the woodsman's every thought, so if woodsman tried to shoo away or attack the tengu, the tengu could easily avoid him.  The tengu mocked and sneered at the woodsman. The woodsman ignored the tengu and kept chopping wood. As the axe fell to split a log, a large shard of wood flew out and stabbed the tengu, who ran away in fear, saying that humans were dangerous beings who could do things without thinking of them.
